Miu Miu
The silhouette given to the Palais Galliera on the occasion of the Vogue Paris Foundation recalls one of the main signatures of Prada, Miu Miu's parent company: the print inspired by 1970s wallpapers that caused a scandal in 1996.
More than wallpapers, the patterns of the printed leather coat cite the printed oilcloth tablecloths of grandmothers' kitchens, even citing the dull, brown and orange hues of the 1970s. The outdated character is even taken to the extreme with technical mesh knee-highs worn with flat pink rubber sandals. This set is thus representative of the transformation of a wardrobe considered at first out of fashion into an avant-garde silhouette of contemporary fashion.
