Azzedine Alaïa
This large corset belt in the shape of an hourglass made of laser-cut black leather is one of Azzedine Alaïa's most famous pieces. The openwork motifs recall the shards of the moucharabiehs. By evoking 19th century corsets, the couturier celebrates the feminine waist by playing with leather, one of his favourite fabrics, which he opens as if with lace.
