The Art of Dreams

On the garden side, the paved area of the Palais Galliera's east wing is the stage for an installation by sculptor Cyril Lancelin.

Cyril Lancelin lives and works in Lyon. His work is composed of monumental sculptures, virtual experiments and videos, which weave links between the physical and the fictional, inviting the viewer to analyse his or her feelings when faced with very large-scale works.

The artist created this work, entitled "Remember your deams", at the initiative of an artistic commission programme called "The Art of Dreams" and supported by the Porsche company, of which he is the first winner. This immense inflatable structure, with a surface area of 124 m² and a height of 7.60 m, creates an artificial and surreal landscape with resolutely pop shapes and colours in the garden of the Palais Galliera. It is an invitation to dream, because: "Only those who know their dreams can make them come true". "Remember your deams" offers visitors the possibility to enter the structure, explore new dimensions and become part of the artistic experience. 

"Remember your deams" can be seen from 16 to 24 October in the Square Galliera, whose entrance is located on Avenue du Président Wilson.
