► Jean Tonique
from 8:30 pm
© Antoine Roux
Drawing influences from 70s funk, Jean Tonique makes an effort to distance himself from genre-defining elements while approaching his music from an organic and raw songwriting perspective. Using elements from hip hop, house, and 70s/80s funk, the multifaceted producer likes to draw people in with the malleable dynamics of his music. Having released his acclaimed debut album ‘’ in 2018, described by DJ Magazine as ‘slickly produced’ and ‘irresistible’, Jean Tonique returned in 2019 older and wiser with ‘’, focusing on raw, organic song-writing while still maintaining his affinity for French touch, house, 70s funk and hip-hop. Tonique’s previous two EP’s released on ’s Partyfine label, set the benchmark for his imitable club sounds and remixes for Lana Del Rey, Outkast, The Kooks and more propelled him to the world stage. Early 2020, he returned to Partyfine and to the club vibes with ‘’, a 3 tracks EP created using samples from the ‘sunny side up’ album. After collaborating with on 'ok' and 'summer on the inside', he just released his latest single 'Let Your Body Move', an ode to dancing crafted after too much time spent inside due to repeted lockdowns.
► The Magician
from 10pm
The DJ Stephen Fasano aka The Magician, a luminary in modern house music, solidified his reputation as a founding member of Aeroplane before going solo in 2010. From his groundbreaking remix of Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers" to his latest collaboration with A-Trak on "Love On You", he enchants with infectious beats. Notable remixes include works for Lykke Li, Clean Bandit, and ZHU. His label, Potion Records, champions diverse sounds, featuring artists like The Aston Shuffle and TCTS. The Magic Tapes compilation series and global tours, including Coachella and Tomorrowland, cement his status as a tastemaker. His latest collaboration and USA back to back tour with A-Trak has been a success in 2023! However, The Magician's journey doesn't end here.
