ABOUT OUR COLLECTIONS

Dear visitors,

After the success of "A History of Fashion", our second collections tour will open to the public in June 2023.

This next collections tour will be an opportunity for you to discover a new history of fashion, from the 18th century to the present day, through our exceptional collections presented in a new theme dedicated to the body in motion.

The link between fashion and sport will be the subject of the second display of this new collections tour, echoing the Olympic Games that will be held in Paris in 2024.

> About Michel Gaubert

Michel Gaubert is a sound illustrator for the biggest fashion shows.

Born in France in the 1960s, Michel Gaubert began his career in the 1980s: he travelled the world in search of records for Givaudan, then for Champs Disques, Parisian vinyl temples. He then became a disc jockey for the Palace, before composing the soundtrack for numerous fashion shows in Paris from the 1990s.

Michel Gaubert performs about thirty shows a year all over the world and works with the greatest fashion houses: Jil Sander, Sacai, Céline or Valentino... He is particularly well known for his long-standing collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, who entrusted him with the sound design of his collections at Chanel and Fendi. In parallel, Michel Gaubert also creates compilations for the concept store Colette with his friend Alexandre de Betak.
