Abundantly embroidered by Lesage, this evening coat is surprisingly modern with its sequins in the shape of claws graded from ivory to fuchsia. It is representative of the work of Balenciaga's materials, playing with the light effects on its surface as well as with the almost bestial aspect of the silhouette.
