ABOUT OUR COLLECTIONS

Dear visitors,

After the success of "A History of Fashion", our second collections tour will open to the public in June 2023.

This next collections tour will be an opportunity for you to discover a new history of fashion, from the 18th century to the present day, through our exceptional collections presented in a new theme dedicated to the body in motion.

The link between fashion and sport will be the subject of the second display of this new collections tour, echoing the Olympic Games that will be held in Paris in 2024.

Founded in 1913 in Milan, the Prada brand was taken over by Miuccia Prada in 1978. From the early 1980s, it introduced its accessories in black nylon canvas poccono and black leather, now the brand's emblems.

The Fall-Winter 2018-19 collection is an opportunity for Prada to reuse this combination of materials, as shown by the black Nylon gabardine fleece coat of this silhouette, signed on the chest with the small triangular metal logo emblematic of the brand from the 1980s to the 2000s. It is worn over a fully transparent tulle dress and pumps caught in small black nylon canvas bags.
