Saint Laurent by Anthony Vacarello
The influence of the 1980s and their excessive clothing is a constant of the House of Saint Laurent. Increased, it is taken over and amplified by Anthony Vacarello, the brand's artistic director since April 2016. This very short dress, composed of a large cloud of fuchsia satin surrounding the body and dipping into the back, mounted on a mini skirt with a black velvet "bat" cut-out.
With this emblematic piece from the 2018 spring-summer collection, the Belgian designer retains the image of the brand while affirming his own style, characterized by its sexy fashion of ultra short dresses. Having been on the cover of the Vogue Paris, February 2018, this silhouette illustrates the evolution of a brand that has never been denied success.
