"The back - says Yohji Yamamoto - is the focal point of my construction. There, near the clavicles, that's what will decide the emotion of a garment. Sometimes I follow women in the street and know, just by their silhouette, how they walk, whether they are beautiful or not. »

Yohji Yamamamoto's spring-summer 2018 pays special tribute to the back of the garment. This silhouette includes a huge bright red backpack made up of whales in the manner of crinolines and turns, sometimes called "crayfish tails", from the second half of the 19th century.
