Jean Paul Gaultier
Each Jean Gaultier fashion show has a particular theme. "Queen of Ice" is a collection inspired by winter sports, mainly composed of furs and coats. However, the "Global Warming" silhouette is a blood-red crepe sari dress worn on a mini dress embroidered with a "constellation" of black sequins. The draped Indian sari is a recurring theme in haute couture, addressed since 1935 by Elsa Schiaparelli, in 1948 by Pierre Balmain or in 1959 by Madame Grès.
