Within Martin Margiela's autumn-winter 2004-05 collection, some "clichéd clothes", typologies of the classic wardrobe are treated in surprising materials: snakeskin, ostrich feathers... Here, a jacket is treated with transparent chiffon with frayed edges.

On the inside, the composition label, usually discreetly sewn onto a side seam from the late 1960s onwards, is oversized and visibly placed in the middle of the back.
