Martin Margiela, for the Fall-Winter 2000-01 collection, develops the garment expansions discussed in the previous season.

This is enlarged in Italian size 78 and floats around the body. Its bodice is made of lining fabric, Martin Margiela's favourite material since the autumn-winter 1990 collection.

The expansion concept, started in spring-summer 2000, is so dense that the designer will develop it over five collections until spring-summer 2002.
