At Martin Margiela's Fall-Winter 2002 show on March 12, 2002, two men in white coats carry transparent Plexiglas boxes in their arms, similar to those seen in museums.

They protect vintage handbags entirely covered with washed white cotton canvas that hides all the details. This "post-logo leather goods", as the French newspaper Le Monde will describe it, is covered with the shape like the armchairs and sofas of the Martin Margiela House. Even the inside is lined with white cotton. It's technically difficult to obtain because the cover of each model is unique, custom-made. These protections, held by bolducs and hand-sewn snap fasteners, are completely removable and machine washable.
