Social sector players
The Palais Galliera offers activities designed to appeal to persons who have little or no access to cultural experiences, who visit with their professional or volunteer social-sector coordinators. Whether it's for a tour or for creating activities related to your projects, our Public Service Department is on hand to work with our different groups of audiences: families, teenagers, children accompanied by teachers or leaders, adults from organizations working to tackle exclusion, to promote social inclusion, integration, learning French, education, etc.
Activities on offer
1h30 - Group of 15 participants - aged 15 and over
Participants are led by a cultural mediator and discover some of the iconic items of the tour of one of the two exhibitions on show in an interactive, tailored way.
1h30 - Group of 15 participants - aged 15 and over
The group discovers the various sections of one of the two exhibitions accompanied by a visual artist. The guide invites participants to touch and feel some samples of fabrics used for the model displayed (or similar).
1h - 15 participants maximum - adults
The self-guided tour is free for groups from the social sector. Booking is required for groups of 5 or more, including the person accompanying them. To book, please fill in the booking form that can be downloaded below from the Booking Conditions section and send it to our Public Service Department.
Fashion on the Move #3 exhibition
The Runway Gazette - creating a fashion magazine (available from February to April 2025)
In the Spotlight Gazette (available from May to October 2025)
2h30 - Group of 8 participants - adults and families, aged 6 and over
Create your own fashion magazine!
Hand-in-hand with a visual artist, young and old alike discover the exhibition devoted to a history of fashion from the 18th century to the present day through silhouettes, dressed up elegantly or in a sporty style, focusing on the themes of swimming, equestrianism, cycling as well as the world of automobiles.
Using photos and illustrations of the fashion showcased during their tour, families are invited to create their own fashion magazine during a workshop.

Summer at the Museum programme
Every summer, the Palais Galliera takes part in the Summer at the Museum programme, designed for social, health, legal and community education sector organizations, and offers a wide range of cultural activities: tailored guided tours, fabric-feel guided tours as well as fashion design initiation workshops.

Co-created projects
If you would like to create a project for groups learning the French language hand-in-hand with a medical-social or social & professional inclusion & integration organization (including young people aged 18-25), please contact the social sector coordinator (evren.adanir@paris.fr).
A professional, artistic and cultural tour can be created.
In most cases, two-part activities are offered, such as a guided tour of the current exhibition followed by a visual art workshop (example: customizing a textile item) for small groups of teenagers and/or adults (8 participants maximum).
These workshops can be tailored to suit the theme of your project.
Solidarity Week
This programme, one of the high points of the cultural season, is designed for community professionals and volunteers working in social, health, legal and community education sector organizations and for their respective audiences.
Events, organized throughout the week in the various museums participating, include discussions between professionals and community organizations, project presentation and sharing best practices, discovering collection and get-together artistic interludes with the different audiences.
Save the date for this year's Solidarity Week at the beginning of June 2025.
Awareness tours for community players
Awareness tours, organized by Paris Musées' head office for professional and volunteer social & community players, are available for each exhibition.
