Visual disability
Descriptive commented touts with an "Image Whisperer"
The French "Souffleurs d’Images" (Image Whisperer) volunteer service accompanies blind and vision-impaired persons through the cultural event of their choice. This service provides people-friendly, bespoke mediation. Volunteer whisperers (prompters), who are art students or artists themselves, describe and whisper into the ear of the blind or vision-impaired person the items they cannot see during a show or an exhibition.
Fabric-feel guided tours
1h30 - 12 participants (6 visitors with disabilities and the persons accompanying them)
The descriptive, tactile (fabric-feel) guided tour is available for all current exhibitions.
The guide invites participants to touch and feel some samples of fabrics used in making the outfits or similar, for a selection of works.
Warning
Light and heat speed up the natural deterioration processes of the works. As such, as part of a preventive conservation approach, the rooms and items exhibited are dimly lit (50 lux maximum). We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Mental and psychological disability
You can download the "Easy to Read and Understand" Booklet, which presents the "Fashion on the Move #3" exhibition and charts three centuries of fashion, to guide you through your tour. The printed version of the booklet is available for free from reception. Reception and security staff are on hand to help you if you have any questions.
