Discover the Palais Galliera's new website: an invitation into the history of fashion!
The Palais Galliera, the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris (Paris Museum of Fashion), is delighted to present its brand new website to you, with its up-to-the-minute, sleek, elegant style, imagined to meet the expectations of fashion lovers and professionals alike.

A smart, intuitive interface for everyone
This site, featuring responsive, more user-friendly design, offers smooth, immersive browsing that's accessible on all your screens (smartphone, tablet, computer). This interface is designed to make it easier to access the museum and book our exhibitions, events and activities online, so you can enjoy your visit in the best possible conditions. It also provides a clearer overview of the museum's cultural offering, from its temporary exhibitions to its tours of collections, in France and around the globe, and includes pages devoted to children and families, adults and visitors with disabilities, social sector players, to professionals and to companies, as well as to researchers and students.
Journey to the very heart of our collections
Explore our masterpieces through our enhanced online collections, which include 3D and very high resolution models, as well as detailed descriptions of the items from the different departments (18th-century and 20th-century garments, contemporary creation and haute couture, accessories, graphic arts, photos, etc.) and features on major donations. What's more, the site centre stages a wider array of digital content with exclusive audio and video media: podcasts, videos, playlists, home workshops and educational packs. This new platform also invites you to discover or rediscover current, past and off-site exhibitions.
Access never-seen-before resources
As we wish to promote our collections of documents, a digital library has been integrated that brings together the PDFs and flipbooks of over 1,200 documentary resources from fashion archives that are freely accessible and include:
- Trade catalogues
- Patterns and cutting & tailoring guides
- Fashion periodicals
A multi-language site
As we wish for the site to be accessible to as many people as possible, it's available in French, in English and provides practical information in other languages.
Much more than just a site: a platform filled with fashion resources
The Palais Galliera's new website isn't just a showcase. It's intended as an invaluable tool for transmitting fashion culture outside the museum, for exploring the history of fashion and its great figures from the 18th century to the present day and, at the same time, for meeting the needs of fashion aficionados and experts alike.
