About LA FEMME
LA FEMME, a pioneering, innovative French rock band, established in 2010 and acclaimed around the globe, is back with a vengeance to "Foutre le bordel" (wreak havoc, go crazy), to paraphrase one of the fifteen tracks on Paradigmes, the band's third album to warm up winter 2021. Following on from the success of "Psycho Tropical Berlin" (2013) – crowned with a Victoire de la musique award – and "Mystère" (2016), both critically-applauded gold records, LA FEMME has been pursuing its route to independence via the independent distribution player IDOL and has drawn up new "Paradigmes" on a record that bubbles over with incredible variety, crazy ambition and astonishing depth.
LA FEMME showcases its track on which children's voices reign: "Trop de peine", its first previously unreleased track from the reissue of its album "Paradigmes", due out on 15 October. Against the backdrop of back-to-school time and the urgent need to raise awareness of the ecological threat, "Trop de peine" offers an extra, alternative voice to make young and old generations alike conscious of the harmful impact we have on our planet.
After the release of its album "Paradigmes" in April 2021, 3rd album critically-praised by French and international reviews, LA FEMME adds unreleased and alternative version tracks to the album. "Paradigmes : le film", LA FEMME's first feature length film bringing together all the clips from the album, and centre staging the "TV show" theme, brought to life by hosts Cesar Domboy and Romain Brau and crazy, fun and cartoonish guests, is just as madcap and multifaceted as LA FEMME's music.
