Martin Margiela
Martin Margiela's twentieth fashion show celebrates its ten years of creation with a retrospective collection. Five years after the Spring-Summer 1994 one, and from that date on, the designer chose the best ideas from the following nine collections. From Fall-Winter 1994-1995 to fall-winter 1998-1999, the outfits will be presented in the form of mock-ups, as unfinished projects, in their raw state.
Techniques and clothing from different seasons are also mixed. For example, a photograph of the Stockman bust (spring/summer 1997) is printed (spring/summer 1996) on a sleeveless jacket. The colours of these photographed clothes are processed in black and white.
