Azzedine Alaïa
Azzedine Alaïa has always wanted immersed lamb leather "[...] more feminine, more delicate, sometimes with more fragility. I treated it the same way as other haute couture fabrics, day and night" (May 2013).
This is reflected in this shoulder-mounted suit whose slim waist and tight skirt exacerbate feminine sensuality. This model is immortalized by the objectives of Horst P. Horst (Vogue Paris, November 1982), Arthur Elgort (Vogue USA, December 1982) and Oliveiro Toscani (ELLE, March 1983).
