Balenciaga, Couture in Black | Bourdelle Museum - Palais Galliera - off-site

To pay tribute to Cristóbal Balenciaga (1895-1972), the couturier of couturiers, the Palais Galliera goes off-site to the Bourdelle Museum to present: "Balenciaga, l’oeuvre au noir" epitomizing the black overtones of a couture alchemist. The couturier's creations, weaving their way through the great hall of plasterwork, the contemporary Portzamparc extension and Bourdelle's workshops, breathe life into a sharp black-on-white dialogue with the sculptures of this great master from the turn of the 20th century.
